Customs & Duties
All orders are shipped from Turkey. Depending on your country’s regulations, your order may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
If you would like us to declare a reduced invoice value in order to help minimize potential customs charges, please let us know when placing your order. Otherwise, we will process your shipment with its original purchase value.
Ready to Ship Items
Products labeled “Ready to Ship” are dispatched immediately after a final quality check. They are shipped with DHL Express or FedEx Express and usually arrive within 2–5 business days. Availability of Ready to Ship items is clearly indicated on each product page.
Made to Order Items
Most Bosphorus Leather creations are handcrafted to order, with additional processes such as hand-dyeing. Production takes approximately 2–5 weeks. After production and quality control, your order will be shipped promptly and a tracking number will be provided via email.
Each product is delivered in its original dust bag and branded box. To ensure smooth delivery, please provide your phone number, email, postcode, and full address when placing your order.
Free worldwide shipping applies to all products priced above 211 USD. Bosphorus Leather is not responsible for any customs duties or import fees that may apply.
REFUND POLICY
Refund & Return Policy
At Bosphorus Leather, we take pride in crafting high-quality leather goods. To ensure clarity and fairness for both our customers and our business, we have outlined our updated refund and return policy below.
1. No Returns or Refunds on Personalized Items
Products that are customized, engraved, or made to order are non-refundable and non-returnable unless they arrive defective or damaged. Please carefully review your customization details before placing your order.
2. Strict Return Eligibility & Timeframe
Returns are only accepted for manufacturer defects and must be reported within 7 days of delivery.
Any return request beyond this timeframe will not be accepted.
The product must be unused, in its original condition and packaging, and accompanied by the required documentation (see below).
3. Unboxing Video Requirement
To process any return, refund, or replacement request, a full, uninterrupted unboxing video is required. This video must clearly show the package being opened and the defect or damage being present upon opening. Without this video, your claim cannot be processed.
4. Refunds: Process & Policy
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method through Shopify’s refund system once the return process is confirmed.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and will be deducted from any refund issued.
5. Shipping Costs Are Non-Refundable
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the product is confirmed to be defective.
If a return is approved, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from any refund issued.
In case of an exchange, the customer is responsible for the shipping fees of the replacement item.
6. No Returns for Buyer’s Remorse
We do not accept returns for reasons such as:
- Change of mind
- Disliking the color, texture, or style after receiving the product
- Differences due to natural leather variations (wrinkles, minor scratches, or color tones)
7. Warranty Policy
Bosphorus Leather offers a 2-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage due to misuse, accidents, or improper care
- Aging effects such as patina, scratches, or stretching of leather
We reserve the right to inspect and verify any defect claim before approving a replacement. If the defect is confirmed, we will repair or replace the product free of charge.
